Jeff Hanson has over 30 years of financial/professional service, advisory, entrepreneurial, and institutional asset management operating experience. His specialized advisory firm, Hanson Advisors, partners with businesses in financial services, private equity, asset management, insurance, healthcare, technology, and other service businesses/ventures across a full range of strategic, operating, organizational and partnership initiatives. Defining, achieving, sustaining, and re-inventing “success” throughout business, market, and organizational life cycles is a key focus with client-partners – particularly private partnerships and companies/ventures in transition.
Mr. Hanson also co-founded and served for over 12 years as COO and Director of Client Consulting Services for Milestone Capital Management, an investment advisor specializing in institutional money management with a diverse investor base of over $2.5 billion in assets under management. Prior to launching Hanson Advisors and MCM, he was with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he established innovative internal consulting solutions to help drive and manage the growth of businesses, clients, geographies, and platforms/teams across banking, sales, trading, and technology/operations.
Mr. Hanson received an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from Oberlin College. He invests in and serves on the Boards and Advisory Boards of a number of early/growth stage companies in biotechnology, medical devices, energy, fintech, data analytics, and other sectors. He is co-author of Informal Networks: The Company Behind the Chart (July 1, 1993) — a Harvard Business Review “best seller.”
